Plain language, because terms nobody reads protect nobody.
What Sentloop is
A personal assistant for occasions. It remembers dates, drafts personalised messages, reminds you, and sends them through the channels you connect. Where a platform officially permits automated sending, Sentloop does it. Where it does not, Sentloop prepares the message and you send it.
What Sentloop will not do
These are commitments, not preferences. Sentloop does not:
- — Bypass, evade, or circumvent any platform’s restrictions.
- — Use unofficial, undocumented, or reverse-engineered APIs.
- — Scrape any platform, or discover recipients you did not enter.
- — Automate a platform’s interface or simulate your interaction with it.
- — Send bulk or unsolicited messages.
- — Describe something as automatic when the platform does not permit it.
What is asked of you
- — Only add people you actually know and who would welcome hearing from you. You confirm this for each person, and it is recorded.
- — Stop messaging anyone who asks you to. Delete their contact, or switch them off.
- — Follow the terms of every platform you connect. Sentloop gives you the official capabilities; how you use them is your responsibility.
- — Do not use Sentloop for marketing, sales outreach, or any bulk messaging. It is built for personal occasions and its limits are set accordingly.
- — Keep your credentials to yourself, and disconnect what you stop using.
Platform relationships
Sentloop is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Telegram, Meta, WhatsApp, Instagram, or Apple. Each platform sets its own rules and can change them at any time. When a capability changes, Sentloop’s declarations change with it, and the app will tell you rather than continue to promise something that stopped being true.
No guarantees
Sentloop is provided as-is. Messages can fail to send: a platform can be down, a token can expire, a recipient can block a bot, a server can be offline when a scheduled moment passes. Sentloop records every failure and tells you, but it cannot guarantee delivery, and it is not a substitute for remembering the people who matter to you.
Calculated holiday dates are labelled as calculated for a reason. Please check them, especially where a date varies by tradition or observation.
Ending it
Delete your account from Settings whenever you like. It is immediate and permanent, and it takes everything with it: contacts, messages, history, and stored credentials.
